April Fools

This April Fool's Day, I thought it was high time to introduce Jackson and Olivia to the art of pranking. We set up a few pranks to trick Tony when he got home from work.

Yum, Veganaise is so delicious! Well, it was really vanilla pudding. This prank worked. Tony was super grossed out to see his little girl eating big spoonfuls straight out of the jar!

Meanwhile, Jackson placed googly eyes on the items in the fridge.

Grumpy sandwich bread was my favorite.

After being greeted by food that was looking back at him, Tony went to put his keys and work badge in the usual drawer, only to find we had switched out the contents.

He enjoyed all the pranks, and we emphasized to the kids how pranks should be all in good fun, to make everyone laugh, not upset anyone. They loved being sneaky and making their daddy laugh. Did you do any pranks with your kids?

Dinner was the gumbo from Cookin' Crunk, full of tempeh and okra. It was great, no foolin'!
