Snow in Austin? It's rare, but it happened!
Jackson and Olivia were thrilled when they woke up, looked outside, and saw the white stuff on the ground. We only got maybe a quarter-inch, but it was enough for them to bundle up and run outside.
Jackson set to work forming tiny snowballs. We couldn't find his gloves, so mine were substituted.
Olivia was more interested in taste than function.
Pesto-Cauliflower Pasta with Breaded Tofu from Isa Does It. Another winner from Isa. The oil-free pesto seemed too watery at first, and I was worried it wouldn't stick to the pasta and cauliflower. But I set it in the fridge for 30 minutes and it firmed up to just the right consistency.
