Try It Tuesday - Papaya

I recently read something about papaya having great health benefits, and realized I'd never eaten papaya. So I bought one, but then I wasn't sure what to do with it. Any suggestions?

I ended up cubing it and freezing it.

It turns out, papaya is great in smoothies. Here is a smoothie I made with papaya, almond milk, vanilla, stevia, and spirulina powder (which gives it the intense green color.) So refreshing! It made a nice light lunch with a bowl of kale salad.

Today we are painting in the bathtub with shaving cream. Hope you're having a good day!

  1. Great!
We start off early watching television and then envisioning our American dream. As a child, we play with our babies, doll houses, and writing in our diaries. We start at the tender age of 4 or 5 looking for our prince charming to marry. Over time, we replace our crushes of princes and other Disney characters with real boys. Sometimes it is the boy that sits next to you in class or a movie star. Either way, it is getting you ready for that all important task called LOVE.........

  2. how fun! and what a cute photo:) i love papaya...so sweet and delicious! i'll have to try freezing it!

  3. What a great pic!!! Too cute!!! Thanks for always sharing bits of your beautiful life. It makes me happy... :)
