Easter is past, but we are still hanging out with a bunny. It's Miffy, as interpreted by Tom Sachs in this fountain at Laguna Gloria.
Miffy cries tears into the fountain.
Laguna Gloria always has cool sculptures dotting the lovingly manicured grounds. The kids were eager to touch the rough surface of this Ursula von Rydingsvard installation.
"Did it catch on fire?" Jackson asked about this charred-looking Paul McCarthy piece.
A moment of calm by the water.
Tony and I love, love, love taking the kids to look at art and discussing it with them. They always have an opinion.
We also love tacos! The Vegan Nom was the perfect place to stop for lunch after our art excursion. We started with some chips and queso.
The kids had crispy-shell "beef" Taco Bell-stylee tacos.
I had the Vegan Del Rey, their take on the fish taco. So good, with cilantro crema, avocado, and lots of salsa!
Tony had a couple of the crispy tacos along with a BBQ seitan brisket and jalapeno mac n cheeze taco. Amazing!
My handsome husband.
Those tacos look amazing!!
